Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy J8, having a 79.3 score against 76.7. The Galaxy S6 edge+ is an extremely older cellphone than Samsung Galaxy J8, but Samsung managed to make it somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 edge+ has the previous 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ features a much better looking screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a lot higher display density. Galaxy J8 counts with a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Galaxy J8 also has a higher number of cores (although they are slower).
The Galaxy S6 edge+ takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures in poorly lited situations, and they both have a back-facing camera with a 16 mega pixels, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a much better (4K) video quality and a bigger back camera sensor taking better quality photographs and videos.
The Galaxy J8 has a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy J8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy J8 has just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
