Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is just a bit better than Galaxy M01's overall score of 74.7. The Galaxy A8 Star body is notably thinner than the Galaxy M01, but it is somewhat heavier and was released only 22 months before. Both devices in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy M01 has Android 11, so it gives you a couple additional features and performance improvements.
Galaxy A8 Star features just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M01, because it has a higher screen density, a quite larger display and a lot higher 1080 x 2220 resolution. Galaxy A8 Star has a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy M01, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy A8 Star also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy A8 Star counts with a better camera than Galaxy M01, because it has a much better 3840x2160 video definition, a more mega pixels camera in the back, a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photos and a way larger aperture to capture better low-light photos. The Galaxy A8 Star has more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy M01, because although it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy M01 has a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery capacity.
