Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a global score of 84.2, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy M12's general score of 80. Both devices we compare here have Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the newer 14 version and Galaxy M12 has Android 10 version. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a little heavier than Galaxy M12, it's just a little thinner and extremely newer.
Samsung Galaxy M12 features a way better performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a bit bigger display and more pixels per screen inch.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy M12, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a way better camera than Galaxy M12, because it has a bigger aperture for better photos and videos in low-light situations, a lot better video resolution and a higher 50 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy M12 features a bit better battery performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because it has a 9% more battery capacity.
