The Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than Galaxy M12, with a global score of 82.1 against 80. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy M12 has Android 10. Galaxy A8 Star's design is much thinner and somewhat lighter than the Galaxy M12, even though it was released many years before.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M12, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
