The Galaxy M30 is just a bit better than the Galaxy M12, having an 82.4 score against 80. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M30 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy M12 has Android 10, so it counts with some extra features and enhanced performance. Galaxy M30 is an incredibly older phone than the Galaxy M12, but Samsung managed to build it incredibly lighter and somewhat thinner.
The Galaxy M30 has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density and a lot better 1080 x 2280 resolution. Samsung Galaxy M12 has a little better processing power than Galaxy M30, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Samsung Galaxy M12 shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy M30, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also counts with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy M30 counts with a slightly better storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy M12, because although it has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage. Galaxy M12 has improved battery performance than Galaxy M30, because it has a 20 percent bigger battery size.
