Galaxy M12 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, having an 80 score against 79.3. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M12 has the newer 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1, giving some extra features. Galaxy M12 is a notably newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, but it's extremely thicker and a lot heavier.
