Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 has a global score of 81, which is just a bit better than Galaxy M12's 80 general score. The Sony Xperia 5 is an older cellphone than the Galaxy M12, but Sony was able to build it much lighter and somewhat thinner. Xperia 5 counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy M12, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and way more pixels per inch in the screen.
Sony Xperia 5 counts with a bit superior processor than Galaxy M12, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xperia 5 features a bit more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M12, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy M12 features just a bit better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy M12 also counts with a way better resolution back facing camera.
