The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is just a bit better than the Galaxy M30s, getting a 90.9 score against 83.3. Although Huawei Mate 40 Pro is newer than the Galaxy M30s, it's just a little thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has the previous 10 version and Galaxy M30s has Android 11 version.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a bit better screen than Galaxy M30s, because it has a little larger display, a higher 1334 x 2772px resolution and a just a little higher amount of pixels per screen inch. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M30s, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Huawei Mate 40 Pro shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy M30s, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro also has a much bigger sensor, a larger aperture to take better captures and videos in low light environments, higher video frame rate and a more mega-pixels camera.
Galaxy M30s features a way better battery duration than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 36 percent more battery size.
