Comparison review
The Galaxy M30s is a little bit better than Huawei P20 Pro, having an 83.3 score against 81.4. The Galaxy M30s is a newer phone than the Huawei P20 Pro, but it is just a bit heavier and thicker. Both phones in this comparison work with Android OS, but Galaxy M30s has newer 11 version while Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10 version, so it offers some nice extra features and enhanced performance.
The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy M30s and Huawei P20 Pro feature really similar displays, because although the Huawei P20 Pro has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2240px and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixel count per inch of screen.
The Huawei P20 Pro takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy M30s, because although it has a camera with a lower 40 mega pixels resolution and a worse (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality videos and pictures and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos and video.
The Galaxy M30s has a bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy M30s counts with a much better battery life than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
