LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit better than Galaxy M30s, getting an 84.3 score against 83.3. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy M30s has Android 11. LG G8 ThinQ is a just a little thinner and lighter phone than the Galaxy M30s, even when they were only released 6 months apart.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy M30s, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a greater display pixels density. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy M30s, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M30s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG G8 ThinQ also has more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy M30s captures much better pictures and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and videos in low light situations and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M30s also counts with a much better resolution back camera and a much larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photographs.

Galaxy M30s counts with a much longer battery lifetime than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has a 71% bigger battery capacity.
