Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy M30s is slightly better than the LG G8X ThinQ, having an 83.3 score against 82.7. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M30s has newer 11 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. Even though the Samsung Galaxy M30s and the LG G8X ThinQ were released only a couple months apart, the Samsung Galaxy M30s body is a bit lighter but also just a little thicker.

The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M30s. They have the same amount of pixels in each inch in the display, the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a display with the same size. LG G8X ThinQ features a little better processing power than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

LG G8X ThinQ features a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy M30s, because it has more internal memory and a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy M30s captures much better photographs and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing images in low light situations and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M30s also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photographs and a back camera with a much better resolution.

The Galaxy M30s counts with a very superior battery life than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 50% more battery capacity.
