The Galaxy M30s has a general score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 general score. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but the Galaxy M30s has the older 11 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. Even being the best device in this comparison review, Galaxy M30s is a notably older, somewhat thicker and heavier device than the Motorola Edge 40.
The Motorola Edge 40 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy M30s, because it has a little larger screen, a little more pixels per inch of display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Samsung Galaxy M30s has an extremely better processor than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
The Motorola Edge 40 features a slightly better camera than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a camera in the back with a better 50 mega pixels resolution, a way larger sensor and a way larger aperture to take better low light captures and videos.
Galaxy M30s counts with more memory capacity for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M30s features a very superior battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 4400mAh.
