Samsung Galaxy M30s is just a bit better than the OnePlus 9, having an 83.3 score against 76. Samsung Galaxy M30s's design is just a little bit lighter than the OnePlus 9, but it is a little bit thicker and was released around 18 months before. Both devices in this review come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so they should count with identical OS features.
The OnePlus 9 features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M30s, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 9 also has more RAM. The OnePlus 9 counts with a bit better display than Galaxy M30s, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400, a quite bigger screen and a little greater display pixels density.
Galaxy M30s counts with a quite bigger storage for games and applications than OnePlus 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 512 GB. OnePlus 9 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have a back camera with a 48 mega-pixels, the OnePlus 9 also has a much better video quality, a much larger camera sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photos and a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography in low light situations.
