Samsung Galaxy M30s is slightly better than Xperia 1 V, getting a overall score of 83.3 against 82.7. Despite being the best phone in this review, Samsung Galaxy M30s is a much older, a little bit thicker and just a bit heavier phone than Xperia 1 V. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M30s has the older 11 version while Xperia 1 V has Android 13 version.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s has an extremely better processing unit than Xperia 1 V, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Xperia 1 V has a bit sharper display than Galaxy M30s, because it has a little bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels and a much greater pixel amount per inch of display.
The Sony Xperia 1 V shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy M30s, and although they both have the same video definition and a 48 mega-pixels resolution camera, the Sony Xperia 1 V also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and pictures, better 120 fps video frame rate and a larger aperture.
The Xperia 1 V counts with a greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M30s, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy M30s features longer battery performance than Xperia 1 V, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
