Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is a little bit better than the Galaxy M30s, getting an 83.3 score against 83.3. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 8 has older 10 version and Galaxy M30s has Android 11 version. The Xiaomi Mi 8 is an older device than the Galaxy M30s, but it is a little lighter and thinner anyway.
Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy M30s, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has more RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy M30s, although it has a just a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the display, a little bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2248.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s captures much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light images and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M30s also counts with a way larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a back camera with a much better resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy M30s, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Galaxy M30s features a much longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3400mAh.
