Samsung Galaxy M31 is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 2 XL, with an 86.5 score against 82.5. Even though Samsung Galaxy M31 is much newer than the Google Pixel 2 XL, it's somewhat thicker and just a little heavier. Google Pixel 2 XL features a little bit better screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels.
The Galaxy M31 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M31 also has 2 GB more RAM. Galaxy M31 shoots much better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Galaxy M31 also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality and a way higher 64 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy M31 has a better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB.
