Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a general score of 86.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei P Smart (2021)'s overall score of 79.2. Both devices we compare here use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has a newer 11 version and Huawei P Smart (2021) has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Samsung Galaxy M31's design is just a little lighter and a bit thinner than the Huawei P Smart (2021), even though both were only released with a couple of months difference.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P Smart (2021), because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel number in each inch in the display. Huawei P Smart (2021) counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy M31, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB, the Huawei P Smart (2021) also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Galaxy M31 has a bit faster processor than Huawei P Smart (2021), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M31 also has 2 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy M31 features better battery life than Huawei P Smart (2021), because it has a 20 percent greater battery size. The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with just a bit better camera than Huawei P Smart (2021), and although they both have the same video definition, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a bigger back camera sensor taking higher quality photographs and videos and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
