Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 is a bit better than the Motorola Edge 20, with a general score of 86.5 against 86.1. Even being the best cellphone in this comparison review, it must be noted that it is also an older, somewhat thicker and heavier cellphone. Both phones we are comparing here come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
Galaxy M31 counts with a little bit better screen than Motorola Edge 20, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit higher number of pixels in each inch of display. Motorola Edge 20 features just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Motorola Edge 20 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Motorola Edge 20's camera is just as good as Galaxy M31's camera, because although the Motorola Edge 20 has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting images or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same video quality, it also counts with a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
The Galaxy M31 has a greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 20, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M31 counts with a way better battery performance than Motorola Edge 20, because it has a 50 percent greater battery capacity.
