Galaxy M31 is better than Moto G9 Play, having a general score of 86.5 against 76.7. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31 has the newer 11 version and Moto G9 Play has Android 10 version. The Galaxy M31 is a a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner phone than the Moto G9 Play, although both were released with only a couple months difference.
Galaxy M31 features a much better looking display than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1080 x 2340 resolution and a better quantity of pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G9 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy M31 takes slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G9 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a much better video definition.
Motorola Moto G9 Play's memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Samsung Galaxy M31's one, both have exactly the same internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M31 has longer battery lifetime than Moto G9 Play, because it has a 20 percent larger battery capacity.
