The Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is much better than the Motorola Moto G9 Power's 78.6 general score. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M31 has a newer 11 version and Motorola Moto G9 Power has Android 10 version, so it offers a lot of extra features and performance optimizations. Galaxy M31 is an older device than Motorola Moto G9 Power, but Samsung managed to build it just a little bit thinner and lighter.

Galaxy M31 features a better display than Motorola Moto G9 Power, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better display pixels density and a much better 1080 x 2340 resolution. Motorola Moto G9 Power features a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB, the Motorola Moto G9 Power also has 128 GB internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a little better performance than Moto G9 Power, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy M31 takes better pictures and videos than Moto G9 Power, and although they both have the same aperture and a same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy M31 also has a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.

The Motorola Moto G9 Power counts with a battery performance that is very similar to the battery life in Samsung Galaxy M31.
