Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is better than the Moto Z3 Play, having a general score of 86.5 against 76.3. Although the Samsung Galaxy M31 is newer than Moto Z3 Play, it is heavier and notably thicker. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit superior processor than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy M31 features a slightly better looking display than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a bit higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, a little bit more pixels per inch of display and a bit larger screen. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a much better battery duration than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 100 percent more battery size. The Galaxy M31 takes greater pictures and videos than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for capturing photographs or video in low light environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a back camera with much more mega pixels and a way bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
