Motorola razr (2020) is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy M31, getting a overall score of 87 against 86.5. These devices come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding that. Although the Motorola razr (2020) and the Samsung Galaxy M31 were released only a couple of months apart, the Motorola razr (2020) design is just a little heavier but thinner.
Motorola razr (2020) has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M31, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Motorola razr (2020) also has a higher amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy M31 has a little bit better screen than Motorola razr (2020), because it has a quite bigger screen, a little bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little higher display density.
The Motorola razr (2020) features a greater storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy M31 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Motorola razr (2020), because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting images or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also counts with a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality and a much more MP camera in the back.
Galaxy M31 features a very superior battery performance than Motorola razr (2020), because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.
