Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 is a bit better than Galaxy Note8, with a general score of 86.5 against 83. The Samsung Galaxy M31 construction is notably newer and just a bit lighter, but a little bit thicker than the Galaxy Note8. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has an older 11 version while Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display. Galaxy M31 and Galaxy Note8 both count with very similar processors, both have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy M31 counts with a bit bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M31 has a lot better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution and a much bigger back camera sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality.
Galaxy M31 counts with a very superior battery duration than Galaxy Note8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
