Samsung Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 87.4, which is a little bit better than Galaxy M31's global score of 86.5. Samsung Galaxy S6's body is noticeably thinner and noticeably lighter than the Galaxy M31, although it was released 5 years before. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has the previous 5.0 version while Galaxy M31 has Android 11.
Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a much better display than Galaxy M31, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better screen pixels density and a better 2560 x 1440px resolution. Samsung Galaxy S6 has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with an additional graphics processor and a 64-bit processor.
Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with more storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31 features a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has a 135% bigger battery capacity.
Galaxy M31 takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31 also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality, a lot more mega-pixels back camera and a bigger diafragm aperture.
