Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s is much better than Huawei Mate 20 lite, having an 88 score against 76.2. Even though the Galaxy M31s is newer than Huawei Mate 20 lite, it's thicker and heavier. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Galaxy M31s has 11 version and Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 20 lite and Galaxy M31s have quite similar displays, because although the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a little worse 1080 x 2340 resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better display density.
Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a very superior memory for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has 128 GB internal memory. Galaxy M31s counts with a superior battery life than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a 60% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy M31s takes much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy M31s also has a back camera with a way better resolution and a lot better video resolution.
