Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s is better than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, having an 88 score against 78.7. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M31s has older 11 version and Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though the Galaxy M31s is noticeably newer than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it's heavier and thicker.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a bit better display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy M31s features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy M31s also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a CPU that is very similar to the processor in Samsung Galaxy M31s, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Galaxy M31s features a way better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Samsung Galaxy M31s has a way better camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a bigger aperture for better images and video in low light environments, a much larger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
