Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X2 has a general score of 89.1, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M31s's 88 overall score. Although the Huawei Mate X2 and the Samsung Galaxy M31s were only released 7 months apart, Huawei Mate X2's design is thinner but also incredibly heavier. These phones work with Android OS, but Huawei Mate X2 has an older 10 version and Samsung Galaxy M31s has Android 11 version.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has 2 GB more RAM. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen, a much better 2200 x 2480 resolution and a bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate X2, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a bigger aperture to take better low light images and videos and a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
The Galaxy M31s features a little bit more storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 512 GB. Galaxy M31s has greater battery performance than Huawei Mate X2, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
