The Galaxy M31s has an overall score of 88, which is a bit better than the Huawei Nova 9's 81 score. These phones have the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding OS features. Despite being the best device in this review, the Galaxy M31s design is older, thicker and somewhat heavier than Huawei Nova 9.
The Galaxy M31s has a slightly better screen than Huawei Nova 9, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy M31s has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Huawei Nova 9 has a little better processing power than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Nova 9 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy M31s captures clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy M31s also has a back camera with a way better 64 mega-pixels resolution and a larger diafragm aperture.
Galaxy M31s features a very superior battery duration than Huawei Nova 9, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
