Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31s is a bit better than the Huawei P20 Pro, getting an 88 score against 81.4. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy M31s has a more recent 11 version while Huawei P20 Pro has Android 10, so it gives you some additional features and increased performance. Even though the Samsung Galaxy M31s is way newer than Huawei P20 Pro, it's somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker.
Huawei P20 Pro features a display that's just as good as the display in Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although the Huawei P20 Pro has a little worse 1080 x 2240 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Huawei P20 Pro's processing unit is just as good as Samsung Galaxy M31s's CPU, both of them have 8 processing cores and 6 GB of RAM memory.
The Galaxy M31s has a much better memory to install applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy M31s also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M31s features a superior battery duration than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
The Galaxy M31s takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size aperture and the same video quality, the Galaxy M31s also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a larger sensor which gives a higher image and video quality.
