Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is slightly better than Galaxy M31s, with an 88.2 score against 88. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 Pro has the older 10 version while Galaxy M31s has Android 11 version. Huawei P40 Pro's construction is just a bit thinner but a little heavier than the Galaxy M31s, and both of them were only released 4 months apart.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 Pro also has more RAM memory. The Huawei P40 Pro features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1200 x 2640, a quite bigger screen and a quite better screen density.
Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a camera with a lot worse 50 mega pixels resolution, a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low light photography and videos and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a way larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy M31s counts with a much better battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 43% larger battery size.
