The Galaxy M31s is much better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a overall score of 88 against 77.2. Despite being the best cellphone we are comparing, we must note that it's also an extremely older, heavier and thicker cellphone. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Galaxy M31s has the older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.
Galaxy M31s features a very superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Motorola Edge 40 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy M31s. Both of them have a same size display, the same 1080 x 2400 resolution and a greater pixel quantity per inch in the display.
Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a bit better camera than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a tinier sensor taking less light and washed colors and a lot smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera.
