The Galaxy M31s has a score of 88, which is better than Galaxy A5 (2017)'s 75.8 general score. The Galaxy M31s body is much newer, but way heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy A5 (2017). Galaxy M31s and Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) both count with very similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher quantity of pixels in each display inch.
Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy M31s features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy M31s also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy M31s takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a lot more megapixels back facing camera, a bigger aperture and a much higher 3840x2160 video quality.
