Galaxy M31s is better than the Galaxy Alpha, getting a overall score of 88 against 76.3. Despite being the best phone in this review, the Galaxy M31s is a a lot heavier and incredibly thicker phone than Galaxy Alpha. These phones work with Android operating system, but Galaxy M31s has older 11 version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4.
The Galaxy Alpha features a slightly better looking display than Galaxy M31s, although it has a much lower resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a much smaller display and a little bit less pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy M31s counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 128 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Galaxy Alpha's processor is very similar to Samsung Galaxy M31s's CPU, because although the Galaxy Alpha has 4 GB less RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a much longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 223% greater battery size.
Galaxy M31s shoots greater photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31s also has a bigger camera aperture and a lot better resolution back-facing camera.
