Comparison review
Galaxy M31s is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M40, having a score of 88 against 85. Both devices we compare here use Android OS, but Galaxy M31s has a more recent 11 version while Samsung Galaxy M40 has Android 10, so it counts with some additional features. Even though the Galaxy M31s is newer than Samsung Galaxy M40, it's heavier and thicker.
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a display that's just as good as the display in Galaxy M31s, because although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a quite lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little higher pixels quantity per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy M40. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Galaxy M40 counts with as much storage capacity for applications and games as the Galaxy M31s, they have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
Galaxy M31s captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking pictures in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a camera with lot more mega pixels and a much bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.
