Comparison review
Galaxy M31s has a general score of 88, which is much better than the Galaxy Note 5's general score of 79.3. These phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31s has 11 version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1. Although the Galaxy M31s is a lot newer than the Galaxy Note 5, it is heavier and somewhat thicker.
Galaxy M31s counts with a quite better processing power than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a greater number of cores (and also faster) and more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440.
Samsung Galaxy M31s features a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M31s counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
Galaxy M31s shoots greater pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy M31s also has a larger camera aperture to capture better photography and video in low light situations, a lot larger camera sensor and a camera in the back with a way better 64 mega-pixels resolution.
