The Galaxy M31s is slightly better than Galaxy Note5, getting an 88 score against 80.2. Although Galaxy M31s is notably newer than the Galaxy Note5, it is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel amount in each inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560.
Galaxy M31s features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M31s also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy M31s has a much greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy M31s takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy M31s also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photos, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and video and a camera in the back with a much better resolution.
