Comparison review
The Galaxy S10 5G has a global score of 93.6, which is just a bit better than Galaxy M31s's 88 overall score. Even though the Galaxy S10 5G is older than the Galaxy M31s, it's construction is somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so they should offer very similar operating system features.
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G also has a larger amount of RAM. The Galaxy S10 5G counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M31s, because it has a little bit larger screen, a just a little better quantity of pixels in each display inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, because although it has only 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31s takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy S10 5G, because although it has worse video frame rates and a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for taking pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher resolution and a lot bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy M31s features superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, because it has a 33% larger battery capacity.
