Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s is just a bit better than the Galaxy S8 Active, with an 88 score against 81.9. The Galaxy M31s design is a lot newer, just a little lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy S8 Active. The Galaxy S8 Active counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixels density and a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
The Galaxy M31s counts with a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S8 Active, because it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Galaxy M31s has a bit better processing power than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy M31s also has more RAM.
The Galaxy M31s features a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because it has a 50% bigger battery capacity. Galaxy M31s features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and photos and a lot better 64 MP resolution back-facing camera.
