Comparison review
Galaxy M31s is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, with an 88 score against 80.1. Although the Galaxy M31s and the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro were only released with a few months difference, the Galaxy M31s is a lot lighter and thinner. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy M31s has older 11 version and Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and more pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with much more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has 128 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M31s, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Galaxy M31s features a way better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing pictures or videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a much more mega-pixels camera in the back and a much larger back camera sensor.
Samsung Galaxy M31s features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has a 33 percent larger battery capacity.
