Comparison review
The Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy M31s, with a 91 score against 88. These phones work with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. Xperia 1 II's design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy M31s, even when both were released with only 3 months difference.
Xperia 1 II counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia 1 II also has a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution and much more pixels per inch in the display. The Sony Xperia 1 II has much more storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy M31s, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 256 GB internal storage.
The Xperia 1 II features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M31s, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 1 II also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
