The Samsung Galaxy M31s is much better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, getting an 88 score against 76.1. Despite being the best phone in this review, we must highlight that it is also just a bit heavier and just a bit thicker. Both phones in our current comparison come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a bit better screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400px resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a just a little higher amount of pixels per screen inch. The Galaxy M31s has a bit more powerful processing unit than TCL 20 Pro 5G. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and 8 processing cores.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because it has more internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1 TB. Galaxy M31s shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy M31s also has a lot more mega-pixels camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor.
Galaxy M31s features improved battery duration than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has a 33 percent more battery size.
