Samsung Galaxy M31s has a general score of 88, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Black Shark 3's general score of 86.6. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M31s has newer 11 version while Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has Android 10, so it gives lots of additional features and a performance increase. Although the Samsung Galaxy M31s and the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 were released with only a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy M31s is a bit lighter and just a bit thinner.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a screen that is just as good as the Galaxy M31s one, because although the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a little bit less pixels per inch in the display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a quite bigger display. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, a F1.8 camera aperture, a same resolution back camera and the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has better video frame rates. Galaxy M31s has a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy M31s also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with longer battery duration than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because it has a 27 percent more battery size.
