Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s has a score of 88, which is better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's 78.1 global score. Both devices in this comparison have Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31s has an older 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Galaxy M31s's body is noticeably newer, but thicker and heavier than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus.
Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features a little sharper display than Galaxy M31s, although it has a quite smaller screen, a just a bit worse count of pixels per display inch and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a larger number of cores. The Galaxy M31s shoots a lot better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy M31s also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality, a bigger aperture to take better low light images and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a really longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
