Comparison review
Galaxy M31s has an overall score of 88, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro's global score of 82.7. The Galaxy M31s is a newer cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, but it is a little heavier and a bit thicker. These phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31s has newer 11 version and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has Android 10 version, so it provides lots of additional features and optimized performance.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy M31s, although it has a bit worse screen density, a quite lower 1080 x 2340px resolution and a bit smaller display. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy M31s. Both have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM.
The Galaxy M31s features a much better storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M31s also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M31s has a very superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s captures a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a way more mega pixels camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
