Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31s is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting an 88 score against 75.7. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M31s has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Despite being the best we are comparing here, the Samsung Galaxy M31s body is notably older, thicker and a little heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro.
The Galaxy M31s counts with a very superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has a little sharper screen than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a just a little worse display pixels density, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a bit larger screen.
Galaxy M31s shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor which gives a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a larger aperture to take better photography and videos in low light situations and a way more MP camera.
Galaxy M31s features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31s also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB. Galaxy M31s counts with improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.
