Galaxy M31s is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, getting an 88 score against 80.3. The Galaxy M31s body is newer, but somewhat thicker and just a little heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 features a screen that is very similar to the Galaxy M31s one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a bit smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit better pixels density.
The Galaxy M31s counts with a bit bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy M31s also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31s has a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has more RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy M31s captures slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a much higher 64 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
