Galaxy M31s has an overall score of 88, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 global score. Even though Galaxy M31s and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S were only released 4 months apart, the Galaxy M31s design is just a little bit thicker but also just a bit lighter. Both of these devices come with the same Android 11 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s features a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a quite better amount of pixels in each inch of display.
The Galaxy M31s features a very superior storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M31s also has more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy M31s has longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because it has a 20 percent bigger battery size.
