The Galaxy M31s is better than ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, with an 88 score against 78.1. These phones have the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding that. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison review, we must note that it is also an older, thicker and just a bit heavier cellphone.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra counts with a screen that is very similar to the screen in Galaxy M31s, because although the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra has a quite lower quantity of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a bit larger display. Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB.
The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra also has a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy M31s has greater battery life than ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, because it has a 30% greater battery capacity. The Galaxy M31s takes a bit better photographs and videos than ZTE Axon 30 Ultra, although it has a tinier camera aperture, they both have the same video frame rate, a back-facing camera with a 64 megapixels and the same 3840x2160 video quality.
