Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is slightly better than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, getting an 85 score against 84.2. Galaxy M40's design is somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, even though it was released many years before. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14.
The Galaxy M40 has a much better performing processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a better display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit worse display pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bit bigger display.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy M40, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light images and video, it also counts with a much bigger sensor, a much better 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a much better video quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
