Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20's general score of 78.1. These phones work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M40 has the previous 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy M40 is a newer phone than Huawei P20, although it's just a bit thicker and a little heavier.
The Huawei P20 counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Huawei P20 features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better amount of pixels per display inch.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features much more memory for apps and games than Huawei P20, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. Galaxy M40 has a bit better camera than Huawei P20, because although it has a tinier sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light situations and a way better resolution camera.
The Galaxy M40 has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has a 3% greater battery size.
